selfies have very little to do with narcissism. to me, it’s fear, it’s self-doubt, it’s the most obvious form of “love me, love me, say that you love me” there is.
the day I stopped obsessively doing selfies was the day I vowed to find myself again, and I did.
you don’t find yourself in you own reflection. there is also no power in something that transparent.
you find yourself in nature, and in the nature of others, the way they respond to you. that is the only reflection you need. and it ain’t always a pretty picture.
