That is one of my most favo pixies songs (saw them in concert a coupla years . Almost cried: was so happy and melancholy; their music is really a part of my youth)
Mine too. Utterly inescapable and formative: one of the only contemporary bands pervasively available and popular in South Africa which were perverted enough to speak to my teenage weirdness. The others were Violent Femmes, the Smiths and the Cure. I have a piece of writing about this… Will try to find it and repost here soon.
